I am an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at Villanova University. I develop and apply quantitative proxies to understand the long-term effects of geologic hazards on coastlines. My research uses sedimentologic, ecological, and statistical tools to explore how the geologic record can be utilized to reconstruct a prehistoric records of tropical cyclones, earthquakes, and tsunamis. I am also committed to broadening participation of underrepresented individuals in the Geosciences.
